Lamda exams – Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July

We had 21 young people take their Lamda exams in Nottingham at the Mercure Hotel on Mansfield Road. Our youngest (10 year olds) took their Grade 3 and our eldest (15/16 year olds) took their Grade 8 with all other levels in between. They all worked really hard and for some, it was the first time they had ever performed solo in front of people and some were very nervous. The examiner was lovely and all came out smiling which was the main objective.

The results came out in August showing 100% passes again with 78% receiving a Distinction. We had 13 year olds gaining 12 UCAS points with their Grade 6 Distinction and a 15 year old who gained 30 UCAS points with her Grade 8 Distinction. Understandably we are so proud of them all.
